DC reopened in Phase 2 so restaurants are open and knowing where to eat with comfort and safety given our new social distance guidelines is important. I hadn’t dined inside a restaurant in three months until I won an Instagram Taco Giveaway from TICO DC, my favorite Mexican-Spanish fusion restaurant. I've ordered carry out from TICO during the pandemic and it's one of my favorite happy hour spots. TICO is located in the hippest, eclectic U Street neighborhood in DC. The rustic decor is gorgeous with amazing artwork and the food is delicious! They have a variety of tasty margaritas 🍹and a fantastic bottomless brunch that books up fast. The customer service is superb! I was skeptical about dining inside a restaurant until I saw TICO’s safety precautions and social distance arrangements. Staff wore masks and gloves and tables were arranged with proper social distance.
