Recoded in 1954 and the flipside of Fire Fire Apart from Keane and McKenzie I do not know anything about the other members of the band. Can anyone out there help? I wonder if this track is related to the Ghanian high life song of the same name used by Fela Sowande as the basis for the finale of his Africa Suite. The label says that it this song is Trad. Collected by Mike Mckenzie. Keane certainly played on some high life recordings in the 50s If so its a great example of the melting pot of London, drawing in influences and styles from a wide range of places.
