In this Canva tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a realistic magnifying glass effect in Canva using simple duplication, frames, and layering techniques — perfect for presentations, posters, thumbnails, and visual storytelling. I start with an image of a street scene and duplicate it. I place the duplicate image inside a circular frame, then crop and reposition it to zoom in on the exact area I want to magnify. Once the zoomed-in section looks right, I save the circular frame as a separate image and upload it back into the design. I then layer a magnifying glass graphic with a transparent lens over the circular image, aligning it so the magnified area sits perfectly inside the glass. To make the effect more convincing, I show how darkening the background helps the magnified portion stand out. I also demonstrate how adding a dotted circle and connecting lines can improve clarity and give the design a more professional, realistic finish. This technique is ideal for: • Educational graphics • Presentations and slides • Marketing visuals • Creative photo effects in Canva 👉 Like, share, and subscribe for more Canva tutorials, photo effects, and creative design tricks!
