In the late 19th century into the middle of the 20th century, this form of entertainment for kids was a real treat and held many memories for millions of children. The actual artistry behind them was very high: Woodcarver, Harold Looff contributed his art to more than 40 carousels throughout the world. Visited Spokane recently and had the opportunity to ride Looff's Carousel there which dates back to 1909. Come check it out with me.
