Explosions heard in Tehran as war with US and Israel enters a fifth day

A submarine has reportedly attacked an Iranian ship off the coast of Sri Lanka as the Iran war spills beyond the Middle East. The news agency Reuters is reporting sources in Sri Lanka’s navy and defence ministry saying at least 101 people are missing following the incident. However a Sri Lankan navy spokesman has disputed that, saying that 32 injured people have been rescued and are in hospital. In a further sign that the Iran conflict - now in its fifth day - may be spreading beyond the Middle East, reports emerged that the Greek air force have intercepted two drones approaching Cypriot airspace.
