This video takes you to Batu Arang, a historic and Malaysia's largest coal mining town of the 1900's -1940's. The name Batu Arang literally means coal. Manaweblife takes you to the market of this historic town to savour a variety of noodles at a 33-year old stall in conjuction with the town's 'Hey Batu Arang' fair.. The choice of noodles and complementing meat ranges from chicken feet, fish balls, pig innards to curry chicken. This 3rd generation , a lady-owned stall is a landmark in this quaint town. She operates her regular stall right opposite the market. The speciality 'low she fun' (rat's tail noodles) noodles are home-made and as you can see it is unlike the usual, as it is short and pure white.
