PB HERE    • [PB] Body Harvest : Greece in 11:10   This isn't my fastest, I have done a 13:53 before but I was not recording at the time. A group of people are trying to optimize and discover tricks for the N64 Game Body Harvest. The only run ever submitted to SDA is a run of over 2 hours, but there were no major tricks used in that run and it was essentially a glitch-less run. This single level usually takes around 30 minutes to complete with no skips, but with the demonstrated skips can be beaten in half the time. 14 minutes RTA, or just under 12 mins using the in game timer, BUT NOBODY USES IT CAUSE IT LIES AND IT'S BROKEN :D For Single Level runs, I start the timer upon pressing A to begin a new game to the killing blow of the boss. Tricks used: Handbrake boost, rapidly pressing B will increase your speed over long distances. Something to note, you aren't spamming B, just once every 1 second. Greece 1 Skip: Handbrake boosting up with Processer hill in the moterbike will allow you to skip going through the mountains. Greece 2 Skip: Handbrake boosting past the Sun Statues and launching yourself into the water will allow you to reach the processer without even setting foot on the second island. Greece 3 Skip: There is a lot of problems with this Skip. There is a faster skip that can be performed by using the bike and jumping over the gap just to the right of the pointer statues, but it as a high fail rate, and it will end your run if you fall in. What I am doing it the 4th fastest method of the Greece 3 Skip, but it is the 2nd easiest to perform, with the TNT from stage 1, perform my setup, wait 9.5 seconds, enter the building, get launched, exit and you will bypass the tunnel, skipping Atlantis. This run was done on a PAL N64 and PAL copy of Body Harvest, PAL version should not be used for full game runs as it has a slower frame rate than NTSC, and does not allow you to complete the entire game on Easy mode. Speedrunning Hard mode is suicidal. I dropped frames upon starting the run and entering the bridge building, but my Dazzle is old, and my video editing software likes to mess around with the footage with I'm editing it.
