The Day of a Beautiful Car

This beautiful 1965 Citroën ID19F Luxe Wagon in the "bleu d'orient" color (AC616) was available from a lovely family who owned it since new. With 60 years under care by the family the car is unaltered and complete. The Citroën ID was a more affordable, simpler version of the Citroën DS, produced from 1957 to 1975. The Luxe edition was the base configuration of the ID where front seats do not recline, vinyl upholstery instead of cloth or leather, rubber mats compared to the soft foam carpets on the DS, and no armrests for the front passengers. Interior door panels were grey regardless of color combination. In this wagon version, the cargo area has two foldable jump seats so the car can seat seven people. This a US specification ID recognizable by the front indicator lights. My plan is to get the car on the road again. Stay tuned.
