Towards the end of their journey into Mordor, Gollum faced a terrible choice. Should he betray Frodo and Sam and lead them into Shelob's lair so that he could recover the One Ring of Power? Or should he remain loyal to his master by leading him through other paths so that they destroy the Ring and defeat Sauron?
