So yeah — what could possibly go wrong? Starting P4 in a 20-minute fixed setup race, the goal was simple: survive lap one. As always at Bathurst, the mountain decides everything. Cold tyres, tight walls, and unpredictable drivers make this one of the most challenging tracks in sim racing — especially in lower split lobbies where anything can happen. We avoided the early carnage, but things quickly turned into a damage-limitation race after contact with the wall left the Mustang struggling for the second half. With force feedback issues, heavy wheel damage, and battles unfolding ahead, it became all about consistency, racecraft, and keeping it clean. Can we hold position? Can we capitalise on mistakes ahead?
