This summer, Chrissie, Jelle, Yet, and I embarked on a memorable journey to Mequinenza, Spain. We rented a stunning house from a company called Ebro Unlimited, and it turned out to be a dream come true. The house, nestled right on the banks of the majestic Ebro River, boasted numerous rooms and all the facilities one could wish for. The fishing opportunities were simply outstanding. A jetty in front of the house allowed us to fish for massive carp and enormous catfish. We practiced catch and release, ensuring the preservation of the river's natural beauty. We even had access to a boat with a 15-horsepower motor, perfect for setting out baits further into the river. Each day was an adventure, filled with excitement and the thrill of the catch. The house was equipped with a smoker, a BBQ, and a well-stocked kitchen, making our culinary experiences just as remarkable as the fishing. Evenings were spent grilling delicious meals together, enjoying the serene riverside ambiance. Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and the company of good friends made it an unforgettable experience.
