The ClockworkPI u console ( https://www.clockworkpi.com/home-ucon... ) is a so-called Cyberdeck (think oversized Blackberry) powerful enough to run DAWs. The ESI XSynth ( https://thmn.to/thoprod/618226?offid=... ) is a digital synthesizer that registers both as an audio interface and as a MIDI keyboard. Now this should be the perfect match, right? Reaper https://www.reaper.fm/ Commands: I had the best result with Pipewire, Jack and ALSA. sudo apt purge pulseaudio pulseaudio-utils pulseaudio-module-bluetooth sudo apt autoremove sudo apt update sudo apt install pipewire pipewire-audio-client-libraries pipewire-pulse pipewire-alsa pipewire-jack systemctl --user daemon-reexec systemctl --user enable pipewire pipewire-pulse systemctl --user start pipewire pipewire-pulse sudo apt install qjackctl a2jmidid Then reboot. start qjackctl and set it up as usual, specify the XSynth as your audio interface. Start the jackd. Then, on another console, start a2jmidid -e Then start REAPER. Go to properties and select JACK as audio driver. You should get a running system with the occasional popping sound. In order to avoid this, just use a second audio interface and skip all the steps above. ;-) HÄLP ZIS CHANNEL https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/flo... / floyd_steinberg https://floydsteinberg.gumroad.com/ https://floydsteinberg.bandcamp.com/ / @mr_floydst Join us on Woody Piano Shack's Discord server: / discord Get 7% off on DistroKid with this link http://distrokid.com/vip/floyd PayPal.me https://www.paypal.me/alexselck Shop a Huge Selection of Synths and Drum Machines at PerfectCircuit.com! https://link.perfectcircuit.com/t/v1/... Some bands / artists I've been following for a long time are (among others) Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, Pet Shop Boys, Archive, A-Ha, Yes, Porcupine Tree, John Mellencamp, Jean-Michel Jarre, Metallica, Peter Gabriel, The Midnight and Perturbator. So my music will kind of sound like those (without ever reaching the greatness of those artists, of course). :-)
