Matheran is considered to be the smallest Hill station of India, vehicles are not allowed to enter Matheran. You can roam around in Matheran either by walk or on horse. It is about 85 km from Mumbai, a popular weekend getaway for Mumbai. We started our day by seeing the sunrise, then we proceeded to Matheran from Aman Lodge in the Toy Train. Matheran Lake (Charlotte Lake) is a small lake most visited tourist spot. We had Vada Pav Breakfast at a nearby shop across the Lake. Suyog Bhojnalaya - It is one of the eatery, where we had traditional Maharashtrian food. Junka Bhakar, Jowar Bhakri & Thali Peeth. Nearest Railway station for Matheran - Neral. After that we proceeded to Ulhasnagar. Hardasmal Restaurant - We had traditional sindhi food, Kadhi - Rs 116, Besan ki Tikki Rs 105 & Bhee (kamal Kakdi) - Rs 116. A1 Sweets - Popular sweet shop in Ulhasnagar, we tried Sev barfi - 440 per kg, Churi Atta Ladoo - Rs 500 per kg, Piss Kharvas - Rs 360 per kg Jai Mata Di - Butter Papdi Wala - We tried street food recommended by many subscribers - Rs 25 Hope you enjoyed watching this episode.
