In the episode... Typical Ned and family install the screens on their screened-in porch using tools and materials all found at Lowe's and Home Depot. Here are Lowe's affiliated links to all the materials and tools I used (I earn commission from Lowe's if you click on the link and purchase through it. Thank you in advance!) Before coming across this screening system online, I thought this was going to be a long, tedious process involving lots of wood cutting and stapling of screens. Turns out someone came up with an easier way of screening that is much less permanent than having to create custom wood strips to secure screens in place. Using the spline to lock the screens in place is very forgiving and quick to do. Another great aspect of this system is if one of your screens gets damaged, it can easily be removed and replaced! This system is affordable and easy to install. I will definitely be using it again next time I need to screen something!
