This video is the building instructions for my front steering set up on my trophy truck. Link to that video will be in the ending credits. This features a fully independent suspension system with positive caster for the front wheels. This design has four anchor points which are used to mount the mechanism to the chassis. These anchor points can be easily changed to fit different positions without affecting the suspension or the steering. I hope you enjoy the video! Positive Caster is when your steering axis is front of your contact point on the tire. Think of the wheels on a shopping cart. The allows go the direction you want (assuming its not a broken wheel). This means that wheels with positive caster naturally want to go straight or return to center. Positive caster also helps vehicles be more stable at high speeds. Side note: Caster is purely just the angle of the kingpin/wheel hub to make the hub rotate about an axis that is not perpendicular to the ground. This also means that the shocks do not have to be parallel to the steering axis. I made them parallel in my design, but they do not have to be.
