Throughout Europe, many towns and villages would have yearly events. One such sport was costume (dress up) football (soccer). Most of the soccer balls used were from football clubs, schools, etc. They used all sorts of soccer balls, with different colors, designs and construction. The most common of them all though, was the classic black and white rubber soccer ball. NOTE! In some of the videos, they are not using rubber soccer balls. Many of the rubber soccer balls would have been quite worn and beat up for these events. Some would have barely retained air. Most folks wore football boots with there costume, but in these events, you could wear whatever footwear you wanted. Today, finding these old rubber soccer balls in Europe would be an extreme challenge, but if one could be found, it could be worth a many hundreds of euros. I ask those of you in Europe, to try and hunt down these old rubber soccer balls. I do not care if they are flat and badly worn.
