Harry Roy (1900-71) and his band play two songs here from the 1937 film "Rhythm Racketeer". This British musical was directed by James Seymour (and starred Harry Roy of course). This is an excerpt from a later 16mm Movie Paks release and contains "Rhythm Racketeer" and "Seven Different Sweeties a Week". I think the former already appears on Youtube within a Pathescope talkie release (T.9705), but not the latter song. In any case here it is. Harry Roy was a jazz/big band leader and clarinet player, perhaps most popular during the 1930s. He was famous for his early break through song "My Girl's Pussy" which received acclaim when it was first revealed to an eager public in 1931.
