All instances of a given particle species share identical mass and charge because they correspond to unitarily equivalent embeddings of the same sector modulo Connes cocycles. Universality of particle properties is therefore a consequence of sector equivalence rather than of local field dynamics. Particle identity is not tied to spacetime location.
