Thank you Boowan Nicole for sending some products to try :) I reached out to Madmayker, a distributor of Jesmonite, and they confirmed that Jesmonite AC100 is ASTM E84 Fire Class A (Class 1) rated and is safe for heat exposure and can be used to make candle vessels. I used Clarks Natural Stone & Concrete Wax to seal my jars in this video because it was an all natural option, but when I reached out to the company, they explained that their wax will begin to melt as temperatures climb over 100° and will become completely liquid by 180°.
