So for this video I show some Bass sounds, I usually make the Bass not that audible on my songs but if you were to cut the Bass from playing you would notice a huge difference. Even if I put my guitar through Bass amps with Sub Octave pedals I do heavily use High Pass filters. For standalone sounds like in my videos I can be more conservative with the High Pass filters and keep the Bass to get a heavy sound for these videos. I do love playing with Bass and creating some really interesting sounds but it is my secondary instrument, I don't play Bass other than for the kind of sounds I do unlike Guitar I can play "normally" but choose not to these days. When playing with Bass Guitar I obviously only use my 2 Bass amps on my wall of amps with the Bass cabinets. I am planning to use only Eminence speakers, so far only one cabinet has not been upgraded the 3 other cabinets got Eminence speakers. For recording I use the direct outs and use 2 mics each sides.Here is the list: Left : Hartke LH500 (Cab - Speaker - Microphone) 1x15 - Eminence Gamma 15a-2 - Audio Technica Mb2k 1x15 - Peavey Black Widow - AKG D440 Right: SWR 350X Pro 1x15 - Eminence Delta 15LFA - Audix i5 1x18 - Eminence Delta Pro 18a - AKG D40 My Bass is a Washburn Taurus T25 upgraded with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Jazz Pickups & Blackout preamp. I am currently having 2 weeks off from my full time job , working on music almost everyday during that period, awaiting lots of new gear next week, can't wait to experiment with the new stuff, can't wait to create awesome new sounds ! So I will be busy working on music for 2 weeks and up until mid november before its gets busy again at work. I am probably going to end my compilation demo album during the first week of December, so then no songs will be released until next year. I'll be back in February because I will reorganise my Studio setup entirely, I will possibly be making changes before that if I can but I want to be ready for next year and make my first serious release.
