Welcome to the official J Morris the Review Guy album review for the brand new Blut Aus Nord album, entitled Disharmonium - Undreamable Abysses! Album genre type: Avant-garde metal, avant-garde black metal, experimental metal. Blut Aus Nord have always been held in infamy for their prolific contributions to the ever-growing Avant-garde black metal genre. Believe it or not, there was a time where that genre did not permeate the scene with a variety of bands trying their hand at the style. Disharmonium certainly relinquishes some of the blazes of glory prevalent in past works--if Blut Aus Nord have been known for one thing in their timeline, it is either coming through with hypermelodic odysseys, or extremely technical, enraged avant-garde metal classics--, alongside some semi-new mixing techniques. However, a struggle it has is consistency, with many moments blurring together in a haze and a rather weak closer, leaving it ultimately at a very strange place in their discography! My favorite songs on this album are: Tales Of The Old Dreamer - Into the Woods. My least favorite song on this album is: The Apotheosis Of The Unnamable.
