This very cute video of wild koala Yuno changing trees gives us a brief glimpse into how koalas change trees - they might spend just ten minutes per day on the ground changing trees but it can be fatal. In the Northern Rivers of NSW, it is still koala breeding season and koalas are still very much on the move - both searching for mates and new home ranges. Sadly, this also means a spike in koala injuries and deaths caused by car strikes and dog attacks. It has been a really difficult time for our team. 🚗 Be alert on the roads: Slow down, especially at dawn/dusk/dark. Look out for koala signs.
