She introduces an open plan interior organized around a tall tree placed beneath a skylight, surrounded by handmade paper ornaments crafted by her family. Soft layers of sheepskins and rugs create relaxed seating for celebrations. Garcia then unveils a lively tablescape filled with natural branches, pine cones, sweets, and colorful accents that appear throughout the home. A white brick fireplace anchors the gathering area with Italian glass lighting, pine boughs, and stockings for every member of the family, including their puppy Rory Sparkle. From there, Sara journeys to Scotland for a visit to Cromlix, a stunning Victorian mansion hotel co-owned by Kim Murray and her husband, tennis champion Andy Murray. Kim introduces the grounds, complete with resident chickens and a tennis court, before exploring the kitchen garden that supports the hotel’s seasonal menus led by executive head chef James. Indoors, guests are welcomed in a reception room enriched by original details and vivid upholstery. Kim also shares the billiards room with its inviting atmosphere and popular jars of sweets. Back in New York, the holiday tour continues in a parlor level Brooklyn Heights apartment designed by Fiona Byrne. She reveals original architectural features that complement her playful and minimal approach to decoration. A faux fire fixture brings warmth to the restored fireplace while wrapped boxes and candles frame the hearth. She points out a cherished snow globe shaped like an Irish telephone box and stockings in her favorite colors. In the living room, an artificial tree stands between tall windows and is dressed with ornaments that reflect her love of New York and Ireland, including miniature taxis, subway cars, cottages, post boxes, and tiny Aran jumpers knitted by her mother and aunt. Colorful lights and vintage furnishings build on her affection for seventies design and the comfort of nostalgic pieces. The final home belongs to food stylist and creative director Marjorie Artieres, who lives on the Lower East Side. Her apartment displays the concrete ceilings and tall windows of its brutalist design. A sculptural Togo sofa defines the living area while stacks of stools expand the dining table for gatherings.
