Sing for Saoirse

'Sing for Saoirse' was a project undertaken by BRAVO Theatre Group earlier this year to help raise funds for Galway Sick Kids Foundation. Saoírse Ruane became a household name when she appeared on the Toy Show and showed her strength and determination as she faced her own health battle. Saoírse was a member of our BRAVO Youth group at the time, and we wanted to do something with her to show our support. During lockdown, we virtually recorded this song ‘Sing’ with Saoírse, but we promised one day we would do it ‘for real’. In July of this year, 100’s of voices, young and old, musicians and technical crew came together and produced this beautiful live recording.
