Chickpea curry, one of my all-time favorite chickpea recipes. It's so creamy, flavorful, nutritious, easy, and ready in just 30 minutes. Due to their high-fiber and protein content, chickpeas are excellent for weight loss diets because they keep you fuller longer and control appetite. #chickpeasbenefitsforweightloss INGREDIENTS Olive oil 2 tbsp Onion 1 sliced Spring onions Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp Crushed red pepper flakes 1 tsp Curry powder 1 tsp Cumin 1 tsp Garam masala 1 tsp Tomato paste 2 tbsp Coconut milk 1 cup Chickpeas, drained and rinsed 250 grams Salt and pepper, to taste Maggi cube 1 DIRECTION 1: In a large, heavy bottomed pot, heat the oil over medium-low. Add the sliced onion, garlic, and chill flakes to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened and tender about 10 minutes. 2: Add the curry powder, Garam masala, black pepper, maggi cube and cumin and stir until toasted, about 1 minute. 3: Add the chickpeas and salt gently scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden to release the any browned spices stuck to the bottom and mix everything. 4: Add tomato paste and pour in the coconut milk to the pot. Stir and reduce to low heat.
