Proof, if needed, that my AJS is not the only plonker in this channel. First, I didn't notice until I'd started the engine that I hadn't started recording. Second, I hadn't fitted the external microphone to my camera. Third, I wrongly concluded that there would be no sound because of the way my old camera worked but, of course, the new camera just reverted to it's internal microphone. Fourth, thinking there would be no sound, I didn't bother to add comments. Fifth, I made an arse of re-starting the bike at Henry Cooper's garage. How daft can you get? My brain was definitely not in gear today. In spite of all that, my camera picked up one comment and a burp (oops!). So, I wanted to have a little ride and call at Henry Cooper's to fill up with E5. I had a 5-mile trundle around Burradon and Dudley, then back to Annitsford for petrol. After filling up, I fiddled with the choke lever for some reason and the AJS didn't like it. After I'd made amends for my stupidity, she started immediately. After that, we took a ride along Arcot Lane, to examine the new road surface, which was apparently laid after decades of neglect because there was a need to discourage doggers and there will be a new crematorium built along there. The road was much better, so well done to the Council! To make our way home, we went up Fisher Lane and back through Cramlington. A total of 14 miles although I have not included the first 5 miles before filling up. Sorry about the backward step in sound quality, you can't legislate for brain fade!
