Public Auditorium in downtown Cleveland is an architectural gem that first opened its doors in 1922. In it's more than century-long run, it's seen some incredible moments in history. Once the largest convention hall in the country, it has hosted iconic performances by legends like Duke Ellington, Elvis Presley, David Bowie, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, and even the Beatles. But today, the venue has found a new rhythm as the home of the Cleveland Charge, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ G League team. The Cleveland Charge — much like a Triple-A team in baseball — give up-and-coming players the chance to hone their skills before making it to the NBA. And after starting in Canton and spending some time at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center, the Charge has now found a permanent home at the iconic Public Auditorium. And as it turns out, this historic venue is a perfect fit. 3News' Mike Polk Jr. reports: https://www.wkyc.com/article/life/peo...
