THANKS FOR BEING HERE I NEVER understood how a speaker could play noise before. The "many frequencies at the same time" thing just didn't make any sense to me. But I learned about superposition and a few related concepts (including how decibels work) and I think I actually understand now! FIND THE GOAT See that picture of the goat in the intro? That picture is hiding somewhere else in the video. See if you can find it! It may be small, partially covered, or on screen extremely briefly, but it's there. Comment if you find it! If you find it first, the Bragging Rights™ are all yours. MUSIC I used two great songs in this video, made by talented artists (and third one is sneakily referenced somewhere). In order, they are: 1. "American Vernacular" by RAGE 2. "Royal" by Slenderbeats 3. ??? IMAGERY All images of frequency distribution charts for "noise colours" (EXCEPT GREEN) were taken from the Wikipedia page "Colors of Noise". The image of Robert Brown was taken from the Wikipedia page of the same name. The image of the bee, speaker (used in 20,000 speakers example) and louspeaker symbol (used inn decibel description) were made by the following talented artists on Pixabay, in order: Myriams-Fotos (bee) OpenClipart-Vectors (speaker) 95C (louspeaker) CHAPTERS 0:00 INTRO 0:36 White Noise Definition(s) 1:32 Many Sounds from One Speaker? 2:22 Superposition 3:59 Getting Noise from Superposition 5:35 Intro to Differentiating Types of Noise 7:07 Pink Noise Intro 8:25 Decibels 9:03 Defining Pink Noise 9:33 Brown Noise and Brownian Motion 10:38 Other Noise Colours 10:59 CONCLUSION - Thanks for watching I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY
