Sept. 11. The air load operation is part of the 101st Airborne Division's preparations to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the division received orders to reposition some of its forces, it has not been ordered to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission. However, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency.
