US Iran War: IndiGo Operates Relief Flights from Jeddah to India Amid Middle East Airspace Conflict

IndiGo is operating 10 special relief flights from Jeddah to four Indian cities on 3rd March to bring back passengers stranded during the Middle East crisis. Flights from Jeddah will be operated to Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad. The civil aviation ministry on Monday said it was closely monitoring the evolving airspace situation in parts of the Middle East. Limited flights from West Asia have begun as Etihad and Emirates started moving stranded passengers out of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. On Monday alone, 357 flights were cancelled, adding to 444 cancellations the previous day and 411 the day before that. Air India Express has resumed services to and from Muscat, while Air India operations remain suspended.
