Each oscillator can simultaneously select waveforms or operate as an LFO, opening vast possibilities for timbral variation and modulation. A fully resonant 4-pole low-pass filter with bass compensation ensures that your basslines and leads cut through with clarity and presence, while the feedback and distortion circuit injects character and aggression when desired. The synthesis path is entirely analog, providing a thick, organic sound texture unavailable in many digital recreations. This is further enhanced by the onboard step sequencer with glide, a versatile arpeggiator, and a one-knob-per-function layout designed for intuitive, hands-on sound design. The 37-key slim keyboard of Sequential FOURM is equipped with polyphonic aftertouch, a rare feature in this size and price range, allowing players to expressively modulate each individual note in real time. This enables new performance techniques including legato variations, guitar-like expressive effects, and subtle voice-specific dynamics, inviting a fresh form of musical interaction rarely found in compact synths.
