It is not in the Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) or Cellar. It cannot be jammed, intercepted, or detected by any of the RF based approaches. LightSpeed™ is in the optical spectrum and outside of traditional detectors (out-of-band). We can essentially be in any band including various frequencies that will not be seen by NVGs (Night Vision Goggles). Our solutions can offer anywhere from 1Mbs to 40Mbs+ rates at distances from 1m (intra-soldier) to 40km+ ranges. Additionally, extensive environmental testing & certification has been completed by the US Navy. Ongoing developments continue to advance by adding additional frequencies (including outof- band), protocols, tracking, and integration for uses in underwater communications, unmanned C2, and docking application. We have solutions aboard Navy ships to replace to legacy Phone Distance Line (PDL) that offers voice, data, and distance while replenishing at sea (UNREP). The fact that we can show the distance, even closing rate, opens autodocking, launch, and recovery applications in non- RF environments in addition to the voice, video, and data links. We have solutions for soldiers, vehicles, and various other applications used across different environments.
