FUEL ALTEREDS MAKE HISTORY at the CHAOS!

On March 26-27th of 2021, fuel altered history was made... The AA/FA exhibition at the Funny Car Chaos event at the Texas Motorplex featured the Tim Wilkerson owned and Richard Hartman tuned machine in a quest for history with the Texas based "War Wagon" team owned and tuned by Farris Racing and driven by Kebin Kinsley. This event carried huge anticipation with a jaw dropping 68 funny cars on the property and brought added hype with world record attempts by the fuel altereds, who hoped to eclipse the four second zone and 300 miler per hour zone in the quarter mile, numbers never previously achieved. Hartman and Wilkerson combined to click off the first four second pass in history with a 4.920 elapsed time and later in the weekend became the first fuel altered to break 300 miles per hour with a 304.53 time slip. The 4.920 is the current elapsed time record and the first four second and first 300 mph 1/4 mile AA/FA passes are permanently etched in drag racing history. Kinsley and Farris flexed their muscle as well and turned out the fastest pass in fuel altered history with a 304.59, the current mile per hour record. In 2023, team "War Wagon" won the Funny Car Chaos 'A' Field at this event and in 2024 claimed the 'A' Field win in Nitro Chaos back in fuel altered trim. A huge weekend for drag racing!
