To be on the path of istiqamah is to be firm upon justice. What we have witnessed in the genocide in Gaza over the last two and a half years exposed the hypocrisy of the international world order. Nations speak about human rights, justice, and equality but when those values do not serve their self-interest, they are ignored. Justice in Islam is unconditional. It is not based on self-interest. It is not selective. It does not change depending on who benefits. Allah ﷻ commands: “O you who believe, stand firmly for justice as witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves, your parents, or close relatives.” (4:135) ✅ Action Item - Stand for justice within your means: Speak truth respectfully Support the oppressed with your wealth Call your representatives Attend peaceful protests to defend the honour of our brothers and sisters
