"Dance of the Shadow Souls" - Live in Atlanta (May 2024) STATiC is Noise | Ambient Journey Immerse yourself in the atmospheric textures of "Dance of the Shadow Souls," captured live during a special performance in Atlanta (May 2024) while opening for Jimmy Gnecco of Ours. During my 16 years as a full-time member of OURS (2003-2019), I was blessed to open many shows with these types of soundscapes and cinematic textures to tune the room and align the energy before the band hit the stage. It was an incredible honor to be back opening for my brother Jimmy again for a handful of shows from late 2023 through spring 2024, the perfect opportunity to embrace my instinctual and intuitive draw towards these ambient soundscape creations that bend time and space, allowing me to connect with those often unseen. This intimate session explores the dance between light and shadow, connecting my inner light being and star person essence while simultaneously conjuring my desert soul and Mediterranean roots. The shadows we carry are not merely darkness but ancient wisdom keepers, moving to rhythms that transcend linear time. This composition creates a sonic portal designed to: 🌓 Reconcile the duality of shadow and light within the soul 👁️ Awaken connections to ancient wisdom and desert landscapes 🧠 Enhance focus and spiritual awareness across multiple dimensions 🌊 Connect to Mediterranean ancestral vibrations and heritage ✨ Elevate your consciousness through healing frequencies This particular piece combines synthesizer modules from my Eurorack setup (primarily featuring Knobula Poly Cinematic and Intellijel Plonk) with live-looped guitar textures and resonant tom-like grooves that echo like thunder off the firmament. All sounds were processed through multiple reverbs, filters, and effects to create expansive, dimensional space that allows the listener to journey beyond conventional boundaries and allow the shadows to dance and speak their forgotten wisdom. About STATiC 👽 With nearly three decades of touring and studio experience, I like to bring a unique, neurodivergent perspective to music creation. As a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, drums, percussion) and modular synthesis enthusiast, I've been blessed to contribute to numerous major label and independent recordings across genres while developing my own sonic language. Each composition emerges from intuitive exploration rather than rigid formulas, channeling genuine emotional landscapes into sound. My journey is deeply intertwined with my advocacy for neurodivergent awareness (late-diagnosed ADHD/autism) and recovery (proudly sober since 2012), informing both my creative process and the healing frequencies within these sonic expressions.
