Bolivia: Thousands Want Evo Morales to Stay On as President

Support is growing in Bolivia for modifying the Constitution to allow President Evo Morales to run for a fourth term in office in the year 2020. A recent poll showed that 54 % of the people are in favor of the measure. A carnival-like atmosphere in a large march on Friday raised hopes that Congress will approve a bill to pave the way for this major Constitutional reform. If it is passed it will then be put to a referendum, and if approved, will go on to the National Assembly for final approval.
