Welcome to the Halls of Nienna, located on the west coast of the Undying Lands, and facing the Encircling Sea. Nienna is one of the Valar, the powerful spirits of Tolkien's world. She is a sort of angel/goddess of grief, mourning, compassion, and mercy. In the earlier ages Gandalf spent a lot of time here and from her learned "pity and patience."
