Watch in HD. Here we are, back again on the Conrail River Line Subdivision for another afternoon of watching the freights run along the Hudson River. We start out at Railroad Avenue in Haverstraw at CP33, where we see Q110, a priority intermodal freight, as it blows through town. Q110 consists of AC44CW 559 and AC60CW 604 with a moderate sized container freight. Next, we move to Iona Island, where we see CSX Q417, a southbound mixed freight from Selkirk Yard in the Albany area to Pavonia Yard in Camden, New Jersey, as it whines through the rock cut just north of Automatic Signal 41. Q417 consists of SD70ACe 4842 and C40-8W 7911 and a 65 car mixed freight. From there, we move up to MP 46.5 in Highland Falls, where the next thing we see is CSX Q112, another priority intermodal freight. Q112 consists of GEVO ES40DC 5492 and SD40-2 8317 with a lengthy double stack freight. Next, we move about 10 miles north of Highland Falls to the City of Newburgh, where we see CSX C712, the local freight out of Kingston, as it makes its way south to serve customers below our location. C712 consists of GP38-2 2805, 5 cars, and GP38-2 2771, both facing north. Finally, we find ourselves at CP78 in West Park, where we see CSX Train Q409, a southbound manifest freight from Selkirk Yard to Waycross Yard near Atlanta, Georgia, as it snakes its way on south. Q409 consists of GEVO ES44AC 827 and C40-8W 7921 with a 107 car mixed freight. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome.
