In Kruger National Park, leopard sightings near Satara Rest Camp often draw large crowds, causing significant traffic jams as tourists vie for the best view of these elusive predators. To manage the chaos, the park’s traffic protection service steps in, led by the fearless "Traffic Lady," Hilda. Unfazed by the presence of dangerous wildlife, Hilda skillfully regulates the flow, usually with the backup of a field ranger armed for her safety. Visitors must obey the Rules of Kruger National Park AND Please Respect the Wildlife AND your fellow Tourist! SANParks (Kruger National Parks) encourage visitors to identify other visitors breaking the rules which can result in a fine and more... Please read more: https://www.sanparks.org/parks/kruger... • Visitors must remain in their vehicles unless in a designated area. Remember that no part of the body may protrude from a window or sunroof or any other part of the vehicle. Vehicle doors should be closed at all times. • Stick to the speed limit! All general rules of the road apply within the Kruger National Park. The speed limit is 50 km/h on tar roads and 40 km/h on gravel roads.
