I captured video of the engine starting and stopping before and after upgrading my Cardinal from the stock McCauley propeller to a Hartzell Trailblazer composite propeller. The Hartzell is much lighter. As a result is starts faster and stops more abruptly. Let's compare and see if we can see a difference. Notice how long the McCauley prop bounces after shutdown, and watch for the motion of the cockpit (visible in the motion of the background in the camera) during start and stop.
