Starting a Vineyard from Scratch PART 4 - Vineyard Trellising (End post, Main Trellis and Stakes)

This is part 4 in our 'Starting a vineyard from scatch 'series. In this video we need to start the tellising system. In our case we are going to use the Double Guyot system. So we need the end posts to be securely anchored to the ground. Then we need a tight main trellis line. We also need to position the vine stakes next to each vine. Finally we need to add two pairs of catch wire that will eventually hold the leaf wall when the vines are growing strongly. This last section will be covered in a separate video as otherwise this video would be quite lengthy.
