Biography Dr John J. Scherer, BA (Honors), MDiv, LHD, was an Honors Graduate of Roanoke College and a Combat Officer in the US Navy. Ordained as a Lutheran Pastor, he served as a Street Minister to ‘people of the night’, then as Lutheran Chaplain at Cornell University, where he facilitated conflict and change using his Gestalt training and Family Systems Therapy concepts. He left the active ministry in 1973 to co-create America’s first competency-based graduate program in Applied Behavioural Science. A highly-respected international speaker, consultant and change facilitator, John has worked with leaders and their organizations like Boeing, Roche, The US Army, The Government of Canada, Siemens, DHL, Microsoft and many others. Executives, Community Leaders and Change Facilitators from 52 countries have graduated from his Executive/Leadership Development Intensives (EDI/LDI).
