The script is based on archaeological reports from excavations of ancient Russian settlements of the thirteenth century, fundamental works on the history of daily life, and ethnographic research on northern wooden architecture. All technical conclusions regarding the "physics of survival" are based on the analysis of smoke cabin structures and the thermal properties of clay ovens. The visual sequence is generated using advanced neural networks to visualize the daily life and atmosphere of the Middle Ages that were not preserved on film. The video is the result of a complex creative process: we use our own infographics, unique temperature sensors, and detailed sound design. Every frame has been manually selected and edited.
