This video demonstrates how to use KeePassDroid on an Android device, KeePass on a Windows device and Google Drive on both devices to share a database that automatically stays in sync. The audio came out a little quiet. That was because I should have been using a headset when I was recording from the phone. Notes from Video: Install software on the android device Google Drive (https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...) KeePassDroid (https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...) Create your database (if you don’t already have one) The default database location is: /storage/emulated/11/keepass/keepass.kdbx Set the password Create an entry and save it Exit KeePassDroid Open Drive Create a folder for your KeePass database file or files Upload the database Click (+) to upload Show internal storage Select your device Open the Keepass folder if the database was saved in the default location. Otherwise, navigate to where the database was stored. After it’s uploaded, enable offline file storage Exit Google Drive Create a shortcut on your home screen to the database file Hold down on home screen Go to Widgets Find Drive Hold down Drive Shortcut 1x1 Note that some devices do not have the shortcut widget If you have more than one Google account on your device, you will have to select the account Select the kdbx file that you uploaded Click on the new shortcut to open the file in KeePassDroid The file can now be synced from Google Drive with other devices (including windows devices) and it can even be shared with other users. Now switch to working on the computer Install Software KeePass Professional Edition (2.x installer) (http://keepass.info/download.html) Google Drive (https://www.google.com/drive/download/) Create a shortcut to the Keepass database file Note that this video was created entirely using freely available tools: AZ Screen Recorder (android) (https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...)
