Save Your $: Overpriced Las Vegas Attractions

While there are plenty of attractions in Vegas that deliver "bang for your buck", there are others that fail to live up to their pricetag. These are 4 things to avoid in Las Vegas that, in my opinion, didn't live up to their price. That said, there are times when review sites disagree with the attractions that I felt were a bit of a rip-off, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I do my best to share the good about each one, too, as it's not all bad! The presence of a Las Vegas attraction on this list doesn't mean it sucks, is boring, or is lame. Rather, it means that I personally didn't think it lived up to the price paid. The first, Arte Museum, located mid-Strip, is a visual attraction that combines nature with the digital world. While there are some REALLY compelling rooms that I thought were cool, others were completely mailed in. While I thought this was overrated, the masses on review sites disagree with me. Immersive Van Gogh at Crystals is an immersive attraction that drops folks into Van Gogh's works, 44 of them in all, as they're projected on the walls around you and even onto the floor. The programming cycles through the works in a visually appealing way, but the non-cultured among us (me) are unlikely to get their money's worth. The cheapest way to get into The Vegas Sphere is The Sphere Experience and "Postcard From Earth" which is a documentary-style movie that serves as a cautionary tale about how humans are harming our planet. The show is STUNNING, the venue is amazing, but it's also overpriced for what it is. Lastly, Swingers at Mandalay Bay is a mini golf experience that carries a hefty price tag for 9-holes... which took us 17 minutes on a recent visit. What are your "Overrated Vegas attractions"?
