Simple Wooden Cross Inlay

I was inspired by my buddy Rag Tie, he is a maker who has come up with tons of different designs that he freely offers to anyone. He is a genuine all around good dude. He shared his version of this piece and I immediately took to it. It is so simple and understated but, the deeper meaning behind it makes it very impactful. This is a very simple build that could be made even simpler by not cutting the grooves in the plank and just gluing the maple strips to the wood instead. I think it would still look as good. This is going to be a Christmas present for one of my family members that is very spiritual and devoutly practices their faith. Thank you for watching and Happy Holidays!
