Walibi Holland is an amusement park, located in Biddinghuizen (municipality of Dronten) in the Dutch province of Flevoland. This park was previously called Walibi World, before that Six Flags Holland, before that Walibi Flevo, while the park started out as Flevohof. Under the name De Flevohof, the park started out as a farm park where city dwellers could get acquainted with agriculture. Originally, the park was to be located in Lelystad. When the Flevohof went bankrupt in 1991, the park was taken over by the Walibi Group and renamed Walibi Flevo. This group was taken over by Premier Parks in 1998 and the park changed to Six Flags Holland in 2000. From the 2005 season up to and including the 2010 season, the park was known as Walibi World. Since the 2011 season, the park has been called Walibi Holland. Most of the attractions, including many roller coasters and other 'thrill rides', date from the Walibi Flevo and Six Flags periods. On the adjacent event site, originally developed by Scouting Nederland for the European Jamboree of 1994 and the World Jamboree of 1995, it also hosted the National Jamboree of 2000, as well as the Scout-Ins of 1990, 1992, 1995 and 1997. organized the Scouting Fundays.
