WATCH UNTIL THE END — the final symphonic and choral climax was conceived as a tribute and takes the performance to another emotional level. “My Way” — performed live with a full symphonic orchestra and band — is an iconic song made famous by Frank Sinatra, presented here in a powerful concert version that respects the original arrangement by Don Costa. #MyWay #FrankSinatra #LiveOrchestra #SymphonicMusic #DonCosta This performance was part of “Unforgettable”, a large-scale symphonic show by Fermata Music, recorded live at the Auditorio Nacional del SODRE. The production blends the unique emotional energy of a live concert with a modern mix, while preserving the orchestral language that made this arrangement timeless. The song is interpreted by Santiago Hounie, a young soloist whose artistic journey began in 2009 as a member of the Fermata Children’s Choir, and who returns here to the symphonic stage in a mature and expressive performance. Musical direction and production were led by Guillermo Freijido, who conceived this performance as a tribute in memoriam to Aram Rupenian, executive producer of Fermata Music between 2010 and 2013 and a close personal friend. Aram Rupenian, together with his brother Berch Rupenian, was a respected and influential figure in Uruguayan broadcasting. During this concert, Berch Rupenian was present on stage, serving as the live host of the performance — a role he had held since 2010 for Fermata Music’s productions — while members of Aram Rupenian’s family and close friends were present in the audience, witnessing the tribute from the auditorium. After the projection of an IN MEMORIAM image honoring Aram Rupenian, the performance reaches an even more powerful emotional peak: Freijido chose to extend the ending with an instrumental play-off inspired by My Way, intentionally expanded by the gradual entrance of the Fermata Choir, enhancing the emotional weight of the moment and driving the piece toward a full symphonic and choral climax. This final section transforms the song into a moment that is not only heard, but deeply felt — intensifying the tribute and leaving a lasting expressive impact on both the audience and the performers on stage. ⸻ “My Way” ✍️ Composed by: C.
