Tibetan Butter Tea | Po Cha

Hi Friends! Have you had Tibetan butter tea before? Tibetan butter tea is a staple in a Tibetan family and you'll be served with this tea non-stop if you visit one! The tea is traditionally made with yak butter, milk and Tibetan brick tea. Since there is no way for me to get a hold of yak butter, I used French cultured butter which is a more flavorful butter. You can also use buffalo butter. The tea is also salty contrary to our modern taste! However this tea keeps people who live in high altitude energized all day.
