Until 2015 no one had been able to film them so intimately. These autonomous groups, created by former members of the Al Nusra Front and the Islamic State, are fighting in northwest Syria. They have the same objectives as the Islamic State: overthrow the regime and establish a great caliphate. For 8 days, our reporters lived in the heart of the fighting alongside jihadists facing the loyalist forces of Bashar Al-Assad. They also shared their daily lives.
